Established in 1973, with full main dealer facilities we are proud of our reputation for selling quality approved used cars as well as being an official authorised main dealer for Fiat & Abarth servicing and aftersales. We ensure that our customers come first and that they are delighted with our attention to detail. With this in mind we take massive pride in our vehicle presentation and therefore we are now looking for a skilled, passionate Vehicle Valeter / Detailer to join our friendly, dedicated team on a full-time, employed basis.
The Role:
Your main mission is to ensure every vehicle on our forecourt and every car handed over to a customer looks absolutely pristine. Working Monday to Friday, you will have ownership of your workspace and manage the preparation of our incoming and outgoing stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exterior detailing: Safe washing, decontamination, stage polishing, and applying high-quality waxes or sealants.
- Interior deep cleaning: Thorough vacuuming, leather cleaning, upholstery shampooing, and steam cleaning.
- Forecourt management: Regularly refreshing display stock to keep the pitch looking sharp.
- Final inspections: Checking completed vehicles to guarantee they meet showroom hand-over standards.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience: A strong background in professional vehicle valeting or detailing (machine polishing experience is highly desirable).
- An eye for detail: Someone who spots the small things and takes genuine pride in their craftsmanship.
- Reliability & drive: A self-motivated individual who enjoys working efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for moving vehicles around our site.
