How often you should service your car really depends on your annual mileage and the manufacturer’s recommendation. Most cars should be booked in for a service once every 12 months, or every 9,000 to 12,000 miles. At PDH Cars, we recommend you follow the manufacturer’s guideline servicing schedule to get the most from your car, but we understand that every customer’s needs are different. However often you choose to bring your vehicle in for a check up, at PDH we make servicing your car as little hassle for you as possible, with 5-star service every step of the way.

A full vehicle Service usually takes around 3 hours, so in most cases you’ll get your car back the same day. If urgent repairs or alterations are required this process may take a little longer, but we’ll always keep you informed at every step of the way.

Yes, at PDH Cars we are happy to provide Servicing and MOTs for electric and hybrid vehicles. We specialise in electric and hybrid vehicles by Fiat, Jeep, Abarth and Alfa Romeo with genuine manufacturer’s parts and training. However, we can help you look after your car whatever the brand.

There are many things to look out for when checking your tyres, other than the actual tyre pressures. The legal limit on a tyre tread is 1.6mm, however, we would recommend 2mm. You also need to be mindful of any cuts or deformities. If in doubt get them checked out, which can be completed very easily and quickly at the dealership.

As well as Service records being kept up to date and stamped in each individual vehicle service book, all works / updates are digitally stored for all vehicles that have been worked on by a dealership and using the manufacturers’ recommendations.

At PDH we are conscious of our customers’ time constraints and at the time of booking we will discuss your mobility arrangements. If a loan car or a pick-up is available there is a small charge to cover the costs of the vehicle and any time taken.

Yes, our dealership offers Servicing, MOTs and repairs for all cars including non-Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Abarth vehicles.

An MOT is a legal requirement that checks whether your car is roadworthy, whereas a service helps prolong your car’s life and ensure it is running at its optimal level. If your car is three years or older, then you have to get it MOT tested – not only is it a legal requirement, but without a valid MOT certificate your car insurance is valid.

If your car fails its MOT at our PDH Cars, you’ll receive a ‘refusal of MOT’ test certificate from us, and we’ll keep your vehicle in our garage to carry out the necessary repairs so that you can legally drive again. Our service team will keep you updated throughout the process and we’ll always strive to get your car back to you in perfect working condition as quickly as possible.
